This position is responsible for systems administration to include design, implementation, and management of information technology resources and infrastructure.
Responsible for the integration of computers and networks, feasibility studies, project analysis, and management. Manages advanced systems that include server, application, and client software/hardware computing. Manages complex TCP/IP network devices that include VOIP phones, switches, routers, and security appliances.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining optimal systems operations and coordinating efforts to pursue resolution of problems associated with computer operating systems, complex networks, and software used at the college. Develops, edits, and reviews documentation relating to information technology policies and procedures and insures conformance with established standards.
Participates in the recommendation of policies and procedures and initiates automated solutions that apply the effective use of progressive technology and the creation and direction of new programs that advance initiatives at the Foundation. Assists in the development of project plans and proposals that include budget needs.
Assists in data backup and file restoration. Adheres to Information Services change management policies and procedures. Other duties as required.
Responsible for coverage of network issues and repairs that may occur after normal business hours, holidays, and weekends on a rotational basis as directed by the Director of Information Services and the IT Manager.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and two years of experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience related to the job duties. (Note: appropriate post-high school education may substitute for experience.)

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office products suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), or equivalent software.

- Ability to maintain consistent and positive communication with the Foundation.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously and accurately in a detail-oriented environment.

Preferred- Minimum of four (4) years of experience providing implementation and technical support of CRM software, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and/or BBCRM software.
- Ability to effectively communicate with users of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

This is a soft money funded position, with renewal based on available funds and the needs of the University.
