Royal Palm Players entertain, educate and engage Boca Grande and
the surrounding communities with outstanding live theater and
drama education in order to create a deeper sense of
community, provide grist for thoughtful discussion and enrich

The Managing Director of the Royal Palm Players will report to
the RPP Board of Directors through the President of the Board and
oversee/direct the work of a Box Office/Administrative Assistant
and the Technical Co-Ordinator. The Managing Director will have
some experience in and passion for the theater arts, a capacity for
strong collaborative leadership, and the ability to oversee the
financial and operational dimensions of RPP’s programs in pursuit
of its mission to “Entertain, Educate and Engage the Boca Grande
Community and Beyond”.

A Bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit
administration, or equivalent work.
5-7 years of experience in a non-profit organization. Arts or
theatrical organizations preferred.
Proven leadership and management ability in a complex
Must possess excellent verbal, written and presentation
Will have a solid knowledge of marketing, accounting, budgeting,
programming and fiscal management.
Has successfully written grants, cultivated new donors and
sponsors, created fundraising events and participated in other

Flexibility and the ability to work independently are key
attributes, as is being willing to roll up their sleeves as
