DEVELOPMENT SERVICES COORDINATOR- RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Development Services Coordinator assists the Director of Development in advancing the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur by managing the development database, insuring the overall accuracy and confidentiality of donor information.  They coordinate gift entry, receipts and acknowledgement letters and assist with general and administrative services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate gift entry and acknowledgement process
  • Maintain database: gift entry and data entry; keep records current; prepare reports, lists, and labels
  • Manage the flow of deposits and gift reports between Development and Finance
  • Serve as resource to staff members using development database
  • Organize paper and electronic storage of information related to development
  • Contact for Donor Perfect Online and all web based giving platforms
  • Act as point of first contact for anyone who communicates with the office in person, by phone, email, or through the website
  • Coordinate online-giving management with Donor Perfect
  • Create donor lists, income graphics and reports as needed
  • Conduct research to support institutional and major donor engagement strategies
  • Assist with managing and generating contact lists for newsletters, appeals or other mailings
  • Assist with coordinating special signatures, special notes, and fundraising appeals
  • Support special projects
  • Assist in other administrative tasks, as appropriate, and work as team member in achieving Development goals

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS:

·       Undergraduate and/or Associate of Arts Degree

·       Technology proficient Microsoft Office and database knowledge    Donor Perfect Online and all web based giving platforms

·       Attention to details

·       Accuracy

·       Experience in publishing

·       Proactive self-starter
