Refugees
International (RI), a humanitarian organization which
advocates for lifesaving assistance and protection for displaced
people and refugees, seeks to hire a manager of donor
relations to be a critical member of its development
team. Led by the Vice President of Philanthropy, the
manager of donor services will be responsible for the managing
donor record keeping, conducting donor prospect research, and
leading the donor stewardship process. RI does not accept
government or UN funding thus enabling its advocates to speak
freely and independently. This restrictive funding policy magnifies
the importance of the development team in raising corporate,
foundation, and individual contributions. The manager of
donor services will be a critical member of that team.
