Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all donations are accurately and timely processed
  • Execute on logistical support for creating, sending and tracking donor acknowledgements
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of the development records in TED
  • Pull and manage donor information for AST members to facilitate donor communications
  • Provide AST team with the data reports necessary for donor interactions, stewardship and reporting.
  • Provide Senior Director with data reports necessary to help manage the AST team and units.
  • Support planning and coordination of AST programs and activities.
  • Ensure implementation of policies and practices.
  • Manage mass communication planning and implementation grids for all units.
  • Support process to collect information from scholarship recipients.
  • Support AST on special projects as needed.
  • Provide logistical support for unit- and university-level fundraising and engagement events and activities.
  • Support planning and execution of volunteer activities, including outreach to and coordination of volunteers.
  • Facilitate connecting students with internal and external partners for communication pieces (stories, quotes), interviews, events, etc.
  • Support the AST with documents, reports, presentations, and communications pieces, creating and updating templates, gathering supporting materials, submitting data requests and preparing materials, and delivering to appropriate audiences as appropriate.
  • Schedule and organize meetings and events for the AST team and units.
  • Support maintaining calendars for multiple team members and units.
  • Serve as point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, and developmental activities.  

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A total of one (1) year (12 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position
  • Based on position requirements, additional education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position, may be required.
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases and fundraising, alumni relations and/or non-profit work.

*Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1 year) of work experience.
