PNP Staffing Group is excited to have been chosen by The Rockefeller University to lead their search for an Associate Director, Foundation Relations and Grants Management.

Rockefeller’s 35-member Development Office raises over $100 million a year for biomedical research. The office has a collegial and collaborative ethos where staff are in close communication with one another and work together toward common goals. The University is currently in a 5-year Capital Campaign seeking to raise $675 million.

Responsibilities:

The Associate Director, Foundation Relations and Grants Management:

  • Will steward and sustain relationships with current foundation donors, while identifying and establishing ties to new foundation prospects.
  • Will draft and edit written materials (e.g., grant/major gift proposals, reports, budgets, briefing materials), organize site visits, and track application and reporting deadlines.
  • Will assist Rockefeller scientists with preparation and submission of applications for foundation-sponsored competitive grant programs.
  • Will work closely with Major Gifts and Events groups in the Development Office, as well as other University offices, such as Finance, Technology Transfer, Sponsored Programs, Science Outreach, the Dean’s Office, and Communications and Public Affairs.
  • May assist in the creation of campaign and other fundraising materials, including print, video, and online resources.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; with 5+ years of Grant Management experience
  • Strong writing, communication, proofreading, and organizational skills; ability to prepare professional-looking documents
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel essential (experience with other programs, such as PowerPoint and Photoshop, desirable)
  • Exceptional attention to details and deadlines
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment.
