Summary:
An ideal candidate for the Development Associate needs to have the ability to multitask because they will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Development Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. They should also have strengths in appreciating and building relationships such as: small community organizations, faith-based organizations, and internal employee fundraisers. Must be highly organized to assist with all event planning and production duties and responsibilities.
 

Essential Functions of Position:
 

  • Manage all aspects of Development CRM including: gift processing and entry, reconciliation, and composing and generating gift acknowledgment letters.
  • Manage the tracking of trends and analytics to help develop planning, strategies, tactics. Will be responsible for independently created reports and departmental KPI’s.
  • Monitor progress and assist team members in the tracking of Moves Management for major prospects, individuals & corporations.
  • Manage the creation of online donation pages, sign up forms, and fundraising e-blasts for all campaigns as directed by the Associate Director
  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of community organizations, churches and/or other faith-based organizations, and KenCrest staff-driven initiatives
  • Assist with stewardship of Second Century Society (planned giving society) members
  • Generate weekly and monthly development reports and analysis for department and accounting staff, agency leadership, and Board of Directors as directed by the Associate Director
  • Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree with Bachelors (preferred)
    • Required 2+ years of related fundraising experience; human services industry experience (preferred)
    • Familiarity with donor database systems/customer relationship management software
    • Comfortable speaking or presenting on behalf of the agency in front of small groups or individuals
    • Ability to work on nights and weekends as needed for events
    • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once and responds to challenges with a sense of humor and can-do attitude
