Summary:
An ideal candidate for the
Development Associate needs to have the ability to multitask
because they will be responsible for managing all aspects of the
Development Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. They
should also have strengths in appreciating and building
relationships such as: small community
organizations, faith-based organizations, and internal employee
fundraisers. Must be highly organized to assist with all event
planning and production duties and responsibilities.
Essential Functions of Position:
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree with Bachelors (preferred)
- Required 2+ years of related fundraising experience; human services industry experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with donor database systems/customer relationship management software
- Comfortable speaking or presenting on behalf of the agency in front of small groups or individuals
- Ability to work on nights and weekends as needed for events
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once and responds to challenges with a sense of humor and can-do attitude
