The University of Central Florida Advancement Team is currently seeking an Associate Director For Development – College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS).

The Associate Director for Development – College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) is responsible for the discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and principal donor prospects, resulting in funding for the immediate and long-term goals of the college and university. This position will be adept at engaging alumni, friends, companies and foundations as both prospects and leadership volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Preferences:

  • Able to attend and conduct meetings on and off campus, and make presentations before large and small groups.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and oral communications skills, and demonstrated effective writing, and editorial skills.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently; ability to work as part of a team; determine priorities; and maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability and comfort working in an environment that puts strong emphasis on established goals, metrics and success.
