Position Summary
We're seeking an experienced and energetic development professional who will coordinate and oversee development duties and fundraising activities. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Development and Operations Coordinator works as a collaborative member of the Development & Operations team.
The ideal candidate will be meticulously organized with the ability to prioritize, must have exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Primary Responsibilities

Assist in the development and
implementation of campaigns and programs designed to broaden and
sustain the base of ENC engagement and philanthropic support.
Support the formation and execution
of cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies
Coordinate mailings, communications,
volunteer outreach and other activities across teams
Coordinate team administrative tasks
including coordinating calendars, tracking of budgets, managing
supplies, and running reports
- Provide logistics support for events, volunteers, and outreach and engagement
- Serve as staff liaison for the ENC Development & Communications Committee
- Participate in planning meetings, accept special assignments, and assist colleagues and provide support for all ongoing programs and operations as needed.
- Work closely with the COO and other senior leadership to increase engagement with donors, prospective donors, and community partners
- Other related duties as required or assigned by the COO or Executive Director
Qualifications/Experience
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
Raiser’s Edge experience required
- A demonstrated commitment to social and racial justice issues and understanding of challenges facing immigrant communities, communities of color, and low and moderate income families
- Strong knowledge of development concepts and fundraising techniques
- Superior interpersonal and communications skills, including a proven ability to interact with high level donors and board members
- Experience with technology tools (MS Office, Google Suite, Hustle, Social Media, Raiser’s Edge, Text Through, Zoom, Act Blue, and Vote Builder)
- Ability to work within a coalition of diverse organizations and partners, communities, and
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Results-focused and organized
- Self-motivated and flexible – proven ability to work independently and across teams
- Sound judgment and discretion
- Experience with C3 and C4 organizations a plus

As such, compensation for this role is competitive. The starting salary will be commensurate with candidate experience. The salary range is $45k-$55k.
