University in the search for a Vice President for University
Advancement.
Reporting to the President, the Vice President for University
Advancement will provide strategic leadership for fundraising
efforts around institutional initiatives of the highest value and
priority to Long Island University (LIU). The Vice President will
convene University partners and lead the development and execution
of coordinated strategies aimed to maximize the lifetime engagement
and philanthropic support of LIU’s most generous supporters. The
Vice President will work in close partnership with the President to
advance LIU’s principal gifts program—leading major gift
fundraisers and volunteers to secure gifts from the University’s
wealthiest donors, corporations, support generated from the Tilles
Center for the Performing Arts, and other sources. This includes
multigenerational families, family offices, trust and estate
strategies, and venture philanthropy, as well as the factors and
strategies that will inspire unprecedented levels of support. The
Vice President will also collaborate closely with senior leadership
to significantly enhance giving to LIU.

A bachelor's degree is required for this position as is at least
ten years of experience in the advancement field. All applications
