Development Associate, Foundation

Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, Development Associate is responsible for logistics for the Foundations two major fundraising events. Works with vendors, volunteers, Medical Center and Foundation team members and community partners. Manages the Employee Campaign. Major Responsibilities Responsible for planning and executing logistics and fundraising for the Foundation events to achieve event-based budget, donor and attendee goals. Responsible for committee management, timetables and action plans, printed materials, correspondence, event setup and achievement of event-related revenue goals. Develop and manage a portfolio of individuals and corporations. Conduct thorough and appropriate follow up with all activities related to this position. Along with the AVP, develop donor tours that align with donor interests and Medical Center funding priorities. Work with the AVP to create a Grateful Patient Program throughout the Medical Center. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor degree required. Three (3) years progressive experience in a fundraising Foundation or department, preferably in a hospital or higher education setting. Excellent writing skills; commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments and meet deadlines. High level of energy, initiative and creativity. Self-motivated, outgoing, creative and results-oriented. Knowledge of Raisers Edge and NXT preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft software applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
