Lindauer is proud to partner with The Boy Scouts of America –Greater New York Councils in their search for a President, Chief Executive Officer, and Scout Executive.

Since its founding in 1927, the Boy Scouts of America–Greater New York Councils remains one of New York City's strongest nonprofit organizations serving the city's children and youth. BSA-GNYC have helped over five million young people become "Prepared for Life." Serving the five boroughs of New York: Manhattan,Queens, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, the Councils have served 21,000 youth within a total youth population of 680,239; it is one of the few remaining purely urban Scout Councils.

The President, Chief Executive Officer, and Scout Executive will be a high-energy leader who is entrepreneurial, innovative, and strategic. Reporting to the Executive Board, the President, CEO, and Scout Executive will provide direction to all operations and administration of the Councils and serve as secretary for the Councils, the Executive Board, and the executive committee. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a transformational leader to leverage the unique urban and diverse New York Community and move this esteemed organization into the 21st century.
