Apply directly with Isaacson, Miller THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting directly to the vice president and chief institutional advancement officer and engaging as an active participant on the Colby advancement senior management team, the AVP for Advancement Operations and Research will be responsible for devising strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the advancement operation to fully support achievement of the college’s potential. The AVP will oversee the areas of operations, research, data, and technology within the division of college advancement. They will supervise a team of approximately 15 staff. The AVP will create an industry-leading advancement operations and research model connecting research, data, and technology to maximize engagement, develop and cultivate personal and organizational networks, leverage segmented communications, and more. They will oversee the creation of systems, standards, tools, resources, and protocols that will support the college advancement division. The AVP will play a vital role educating internal partners on philanthropic best practices and inspiring confidence among external supporters that their commitments will be well-received and stewarded. Throughout the Dare Northward campaign and beyond, the AVP will serve as a strategic advisor to the vice president and chief institutional advancement officer and work closely with other senior leaders in the division of college advancement.
