Position Summary & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position plays a critical role in the fundraising efforts of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. The successful candidate will be charged with executing planned direct marketing programs in the mail and through digital channels.

Key activities will include: assist in drafting annual promotional plan; developing detailed plans for individual mailings; defining target markets and obtaining lists reflecting specified behavioral criteria; leading creative development from initial brief through final approvals; monitoring of program performance; budget reporting and management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• College graduate with a marketing or related degree or equivalent experience.
• Ten or more years of experience in Direct Marketing/Direct Response Marketing, familiarity with fundraising techniques and statistics.
• Success in this position requires working with multiple departments and vendors.
• A working knowledge of direct mail production—including data processing, database reporting, mail production and offset & digital printing are essential.
• A working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and email deployment systems is also required.
• The successful candidate will be a team player who is capable of working independently.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills are required, as is proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Database/statistical software experience a plus.
• Spanish-language proficiency a plus.
