Philanthropic Development | New York, NY | Full Time JOB DESCRIPTION Sesame Workshop is looking for a Coordinator, Global Corporate Giving. The Coordinator of Global Corporate Giving will provide administrative and organizational support to the Corporate Giving team in their efforts to secure funding for social impact and cause marketing initiatives. The Coordinator will play a key role within the Philanthropic Development department and develop skills in the areas of fundraising, relationship management, and administration. The Coordinator is responsible for Salesforce CRM support, meeting preparation and presentations, calendar management and management of department interns.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for the Corporate Development team including calendar management, travel and expense reports, management of mailing lists, and organizational support
  • Assist in department management of Salesforce CRM system
  • Interact extensively across all departments
  • Assist in preparing materials for special projects, meetings, and presentations
  • Perform necessary tasks for the department including file management, timesheets, orders, invoice processing, approvals, and contract administration
  • Provide support to other Philanthropic Development staff as needed, including scheduling, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, technology, and expense reports
  • Help to recruit, train, and oversee department interns

Requirements
  • 2 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent people skills and works well on a team
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with fundraising software preferred, e.g., Salesforce
  • Computer literacy and proven proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to oversee confidential matters appropriately
