Management level back-up to the President in general management of affairs for the Commission’s daily work. Staff management and oversight. Assist President in strategic and budgetary planning, setting priorities and leadership and guidance to achieve mission goals, short- and long-term projects.

Responsibilities

  • Human resources (payroll, benefits, employee records)
  • First-line management of employees (attendance, performance, office calendar)
  • Case review and assessment of nominated acts (with Investigations Manager and President)
  • Management of beneficiary and scholarship assistance programs
  • Oversight of regulatory (tax/audit) processes
  • Handling of routing financial processes, approval of expenditures (with President and Office and Financial Managers)
  • Assist President in setting and preparing for staff and board meetings
  • Oversight of Communications (website, social media, newsletter and annual reporting)
  • Coordination with board officers on reports and contributions
  • Serve as lead on IT issues (IT security, vendor relationship management, back-up of server and electronic files)
  • Overall Vendor relationship management
  • Oversight of records and data management

 

Required:           Bachelor’s degree

                            

Preferred:          10 years’ professional experience

Experience in Non-profit/ private foundation space

                             Previous management of personnel and programs
