Director of Development, Child Welfare and Senior Services

This position is responsible for Development Department efforts to raise the awareness of Christ’s Home in the community, as well as with the existing donor base, for expanding the resources of financial support for Christ’s Home.  The Director of Development shall work closely with the  Vice President of Corporate Relations and the members of the development team to achieve the organization’s annual fund-raising goals.  This is a Full-time position.

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree. 

Experience:  Minimum of five years fundraising experience including major gifts and foundation grants; basic knowledge of Planned Giving.  Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.  Competent computer skills and functional knowledge of fundraising software. Valid driver’s license for travel necessary. 

Certification:  CFRE preferred.
