Major Gifts Director

Landmark College is a unique, accredited college for bright neurodivergent students with learning differences (LD; including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and executive function challenges).  Whether at the Putney Vermont campus, through LC Online, or at our west coast Success Center, Landmark provides an intentionally designed, resource-rich academic and student life model yet is traditional in most ways.   We seek an experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record to join our Institutional Advancement team as Major Gifts Director.  The Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors with a focus on higher-level gifts for campaign and annual giving.  Ability to connect with others and communicate Landmark’s mission, value, as well as complex brand and operations is key.

The Director must possess an in-depth knowledge of development issues and opportunities, a working understanding of fundraising systems and data-associated elements, and other aspects of fund-raising processes, chief among them strong relationship-related instincts and qualities.  Frequent travel on behalf of the College, either alone or with the President, is a requirement.  A bachelor's degree is required.
