Head, Campaign, Principle and Major Gifts

Success Academy seeks an exceptionally accomplished and creative Head, Campaign, Principal, and Major  Gifts. The successful candidate will maintain a portfolio of high-level principal, leadership, and major gift  prospects and donors with the capacity to support Success Academy’s investments for scholars,  innovations, research and development, advocacy, and capital during campaign modality. S/he will expand  the nucleus of transformational gift donors and establish an agile and effective development program  scaled, and scalable, to the needs of Success Academy. The candidate will strategically engage and support  Success Academy’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Board of Trustees, and Chief Advancement  Officer to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships. 

 

The ideal candidate will craft and execute strategic and operational plans for the identification,  qualification, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of high-net-worth donors and  prospects to ensure Success Academy can surpass its ambitious commitments to scholars and educational  innovations. Using a coordinated, collaborative approach to fundraising with the Advancement team, s/he  will secure and accelerate the commitment of gifts from Success Academy’s donors and prospects.  

 

The Head, Campaign, Principal, and Major Gifts will report to the Chief Advancement Officer and oversee  a team of four development professionals. S/he will help further build a highly productive and agile team of  fundraising professionals. The successful candidate is a partner to Success Academy’s Founder and Chief  Executive Officer, Board of Trustees members, and key stakeholders, all united in their belief and commitment to actualizing Success Academy’s dual mission of innovative education and advocacy.
