Job Description Summary:
The Donor Experience Coordinator will focus on creating a stellar philanthropic experience for all donors via digital and in-person engagement opportunities to effectively build relationships based on what truly matters to individual supporters.

This person will provide leadership, management and implementation for all DMC Foundation special events. These events currently include an annual student-donor scholarship reception and small, donor-tailored campus tours. This person is expected to collaborate and contribute within a team that values relationship-based fundraising, data-centered decision-making and the pursuit of excellence as we help people help others!

Primary responsibilities include: management of DMC Foundation special events; digital fundraising/crowdfunding; and primary liaison with volunteers (alumni/retirees/community) and the campus community to develop and implement meaningful engagement opportunities.

Secondary responsibilities include: managing a reasonably sized donor portfolio; collaboration and assistance to the Annual Giving Officer and Communications Coordinator in marketing and implementing annual donor campaigns and donor stewardship activities; collaboration and assistance to the Development Officers in preparing for donor campus tours.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.

One (1) year of experience in sales, fundraising, marketing, event coordination; membership or volunteer management; customer service industry with focus on high-end customer experience; or related experience pertinent to the position.


Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of a donor CRM, preferably Raiser’s Edge NXT.

Working knowledge in digital communications, crowdfunding, social media.

Experience in special event management.

Experience with volunteer or membership management.

Experience in fundraising, sales or nonprofits.
