CSIS is a bipartisan, nonprofit think tank dedicated to advancing practical ideas to address the world's greatest challenges. CSIS is one of the world's preeminent public policy institutions on foreign policy and national security issues and conducts strategic analyses of political, economic, and security issues throughout the world.

CSIS seeks a strategic fundraiser and relationship-builder. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Senior Director will provide strategic direction for the acquisition of new funders. They will be a key player in identifying and connecting current and prospective donors with the work of CSIS's Defense and Security scholars —forging new relationships to build the program's visibility, impact, and financial resources.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join one of the country's top think tanks. In addition to being an accomplished fundraiser and strategist, the ideal candidate will also bring passion and intellectual curiosity for an organization that continues to be a leader in researching and identifying defense and security threats around the globe.
