Position Overview

The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is someone who oversees the development and implementation of programs and services that promote diversity within the Dutch Bros organization. The Director is also responsible for ensuring that we carry DEI throughout the organization and train our leaders to have DEI top of mind at all times.  The duties for this position include measuring and monitoring company diversity, developing new programs and practices that effectively increase diversity, and providing DEI support to various groups within the company. This role will engage our community in training and informal activities to help employees embrace and understand differing perspectives.

 

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

  • Monitor, facilitate, and support all strategic programs and projects ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion is embraced by the organization in spirit and operations

  • Advise, guide, and implement DEI strategies to ensure all committee members and key stakeholders are involved appropriately

  • Develop benchmarks and metrics for strategic interventions and organizational goals that help advance diversity and inclusion within Dutch Bros

 

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience, required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred

  • Excellent leadership skills, including a keen understanding of how to lead organizational change, empower people, and influence colleagues

  • Proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives, establishing metrics, and measuring progress

  • Strong conflict management, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

  • Strong knowledge of human resources management and employment law, including but not limited to EEO provisions, and experience working interdepartmentally

  • Professional and/or lived experience relating to DEI

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional lifting up to ten pounds

  • Must be able to work in a climate-controlled office environment 

  • Vision must be good, or corrected to normal, to perform normal job duties

  • Hearing must be good, or corrected to normal, to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties

  • Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary

  • Sitting for extended periods of time

  • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks

Compensation:

$135,411.28 - DOE
