Senior Development Associate

The Senior Development Associate will supervise day-to-day operations of the Development department, with a focus on foundation and government grants. Day-to-day operational tasks will include data entry, research, reporting, and other projects as needed. The Senior Development Associate will help support prospecting and researching foundation and government funding opportunities that align with Safe Kids, writing grants and Letters of Interest, and initiating relationships with foundation/government contacts. They will also coordinate multiple projects while ensuring smooth operations of various processes and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Development Associate will support strategic program planning, timelines, project budget oversight and research of fundraising trends. They will work with development team to coordinate special events and fundraising initiatives. This person will work in a fast-paced and ambitious environment. This position will entail 75% Development Support and 25% Administrative Support. Minimum travel may be required.
