Overview
Responsibilities
- Serves as the relationship manager for key WWF corporate partners in the tech sector. Continually works to steward and strengthen relationships through excellent service and communications of relevant materials.
- Works closely with internal stakeholders to manage all elements of the corporate partnership development and stewardship process – from due diligence, development, pitch, negotiation, contracting, budgeting, due diligence, project management, milestone delivery, communications, and reporting.
- Initiates and coordinates meetings and project updates with corporate partners. Prepares briefing materials and research summaries in concert with Senior PSE and/or Program team staff.
- Works with program, communications, marketing and legal teams as needed to approve internal, network, and external communications about partnership.
- Works closely with business services, program operations and accounting teams to track and report on project budgets.
- Works with Legal to create partnership agreements from terms to draft form through final version.
- Performs functions relating to above mentioned corporate accounts, including tracking the status of all agreements, renewal dates, payment dates, and coordinates activities and communications with all relevant program teams.
- Provides monthly updates and as needed partnership overviews to PSE and WWF management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and at least 6 – 8 years of relevant work experience developing and managing corporate relationships, executing sustainability projects or philanthropy.
- Agency experience or experience with conservation and corporate philanthropic engagement is a plus as are existing corporate relationships.
- Knowledge of and interest in the technology sector, including key players, product and business trends, environmental impacts/challenges, and examples of innovative tech solutions that could solve pressing conservation issues.
- Knowledge of standard partnership practices and techniques, proposal writing, and prospect research.
- Working knowledge of sustainable business practices and terminology (nature-based solutions, forest restoration, conservation finance)
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills for internal and external relationships
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to work as part of a high-level, multi-dimensional, international team
