Responsible for supporting the cultivation and stewardship of donors by effectively managing and analyzing donor data. Serves as the donor database subject matter expert with an emphasis on extracting information, facilitating electronic communications, maintaining constituent records, and maximizing use of data to increase donor giving and enhance stewardship. Ensures the alignment of gift entry and acknowledgement procedures with other related departments throughout the College.
Duties and Responsibilities: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary)- Accurately processes, records, and reconciles donor charitable contributions in a timely manner. Regularly analyzes data and identifies giving trends and opportunities that inform goal-setting and outreach programs.
- Ensures accurate data collection and data integrity through regular data checks and reviews of donor records and fields. Continually improves the quality of information entered and managed in the donor database. Identifies, removes, and resolves conflicting or duplicate records.
- Establishes and oversees data sharing practices that ensure integrity and alignment of data between various college departments.
- Ensures timely and appropriate creation and distribution of donor acknowledgements and periodic communications with the highest level of accuracy.
- Uses the database to capture, maintain and extract detailed reports and data pertaining to donors, alumni, events, and volunteers.
- Liaison among departments, functions or groups, within and outside the College. Communicates information through various methods to appropriate personnel and others.
- Coordinates collective digitization of historical donor and alumni records; introduces an efficient system for maintaining relevant hard copy files.
- Conducts monthly gift reconciliations with the College’s Finance Office.
- Engages in donor database training and shares best practices and innovations with the team in support of meeting fundraising goals.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
