The Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that offers job opportunities in multiple fields ranging from museum guides to archaeologists to guest services. We employ historians, digital creatives, educators, researchers, and more.

Our growing Foundation needs you to help us source diverse new employees using skills and tools available to you to passively and actively recruit our future talent. With many job openings currently posted and more to come, we need your help to successfully find applicants and work with our hiring managers to source, interview, and successfully hire diverse employees using bias-free strategies that you design.

You will be working in the Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion (DEAI) Department and reporting directly to the Vice President of DEAI. You and your colleagues are committed to moving the needle significantly in a place of historic and present importance to the national and global dialogue of equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion.

We will look to you to:

  • Create a Strategic Plan for Recruitment
  • Source candidates creatively using active and passive strategies
  • Promote diversity through explicit processes and procedures
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service
