The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the fulfillment of data and report requests, providing end user support, investigating and resolving, transactional and data-related issues of enterprise constituent management software, including Blackbaud’s CRM, Financial Edge, Papersave, and other associated products and providing project leadership for reporting, data manipulation and application enhancement projects.
Utilizing Microsoft T-SQL, SSRS and PowerBI produces standard, custom, audit and dashboard reports utilizing data warehouse and transactional systems. Fulfills data requests for mailing lists, donor rolls, demographic and giving analyses. Produce or support the production of standard, custom and audit reports. Provides data manipulation and reporting assistance to other departments as needed.
Triages and assigns tickets to team members. Provides overall program support for Blackbaud’s applications and other associated products utilized by the FSU Foundation and other FSU Direct Support Organizations. Facilitates the resolution of technical application issues. Provide appropriate service, support, training, and advice to end users regarding the capabilities and functions of the fundraising software products, along with technical and application issues.
Data Infrastructure and Project Management
Designs, creates and maintains application and business process related documentation. May participate as a member of the FSU Advancement Data Integrity Committee (FADIC). Participates in thorough testing and validation efforts for deliverables such as reports, data lists, applications, and system upgrades, ensuring timely and accurate results in a team environment. Gather and document business requirements, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders. Protects confidential information.
Assist Report Team Manager & Other
Serves as data resource and mentor for other team members. Provides application expertise within the team (report writing, CRM customizations, etc.). Handles team meetings in absence of the team manager. Adheres to Information Services change management policies and procedures. Other duties as required.
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: a combination of appropriate post-high school education and experience equal to six years is substitutable.)

Ability to maintain consistent and positive communication with the Foundation.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously and accurately in a detail-oriented environment.

Minimum of four (4) years of experience providing implementation and technical support of CRM software, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and/or BBCRM software.
Knowledge of T-SQL.
Knowledge of SQL or similar query language.
Working knowledge of relational database architectures.
Strong knowledge of higher education fundraising principles.
Experience with developing and implementing reporting vehicles and using CRM software to query, extract and/or load data.
Ability to effectively communicate with users of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
