The North American Quitline Consortium (NAQC) is a non-profit membership organization that seeks to promote evidence based quitline services across diverse communities in North America. NAQC’s membership is made-up of over 400 organizations and individuals that provide quitline services, fund quitlines, conduct research around quitline-related topics, advance national cessation policies, and work in other areas of tobacco control. Members enjoy professional support, educational programs, and opportunities for participation in activities to help improve quitlines.

Quitlines are tobacco cessation services that are offered across every state and US territory, Canadian provinces, and internationally. Available at no cost to participants ,quitlines help tobacco and vape users quit through a variety of service offerings, including individual telephonic counseling, online programs, text messaging programs, interactive and informative web/digital services information on FDA-approved cessation medications, self-help materials sent by mail or online, referral to other cessation resources, and—in most  cases—free or discounted cessation medications.

The CEO of NAQC reports to the Board and serves over 400 members in their tobacco cessation efforts.

NAQC is looking for a visionary and strategic leader who will reach audiences in creative, transformative and relevant new ways.
