This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving. The
Associate Director of Annual Giving works collaboratively with the
Director of Annual Giving to develop fundraising and engagement
strategies for Annual Giving programs such as Direct Mail, Giving
Days, Online Giving, Parents Fund, and Senior Class Gift. The
Associate Director is responsible for establishing and managing
successful strategies that increase alumni affinity and engagement
with the university, increase annual financial support, and enhance
the fundraising pipeline.
Bachelor's degree.
Two years of professional experience related to annual giving, development, fundraising, alumni relations, or a related field in which skills such as sales, marketing, and/or public relations are utilized, preferably in higher education or a nonprofit setting.
Demonstrated experience with and/or commitment to working effectively with students, alumni, and friends from diverse backgrounds, supporting an inclusive and welcoming environment.
Strong organization, time management, and collaboration skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Must have basic fundraising principles, a high level of organization, professionalism, and a broad familiarity with the objectives of annual giving.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
