The Associate Director will ensure a high level of competency in deploying GUMC leadership, faculty, and administrators by leveraging their time and talents in various engagement platforms (one-to-one visits, large as well as intimate gatherings) to raise funds from constituents.

The Associate Director knowledgeably and articulately communicates the case for support for each of the Schools as well as for GUMC and University priorities; effectively identifies, cultivates and solicits potential donors, and works closely with colleagues in annual giving, alumni and family engagement, stewardship, event planning, and prospect research. The Associate Director will be charged with increasing the major gift pipeline of a loyal donor constituency and maintains a portfolio of individuals aligned with the GUMC Schools, with a particular focus on developing School of Medicine family engagement and philanthropy, as well as select corporate/foundation prospects and donors.
