The Ministry of Caring is a nonprofit serving the poor and homeless since 1977. The Chief Operating Officer, exemplifying the Ministry of Caring’s mission and values (that is, delivering basic services to the poor with dignity and respect), will assist the Chief Executive Officer by providing strategic insight in critical areas including policy, organizational initiatives, and communication with benefactors, as well as overseeing daily operations of the ministry’s 19 programs, and encouraging self-sufficiency in those we serve. In addition, the COO will share responsibility for oversight of six separate nonprofits sponsored by the Ministry. Applicants must have extensive management experience in the nonprofit, public, or private sectors and a deep love for the poor.
