In this role, we are seeking experienced fundraising
professionals to work directly with 4-5 partners to support their
development strategies and fundraising initiatives of all shapes
and sizes. This role will get to the core of its partners’ unique
work and needs, and apply advanced skills related to program
design, internal infrastructure, donor pipelines, prospect
research, strategy development, event management, cultivation and
stewardship efforts, appeal writing and project management.

What You Will Accomplish
◼Collaborate with the CEO to
strategize big-picture growth, assess capacity, and cultivate the
pipeline for new and existing business.

internal repository of fundraising best practices and contribute to
content creation for external communications, tools, and

Relationship and Team Management
◼Lead weekly or bi-weekly partner
◼Build and maintain strong,
supportive, responsive and trusting relationships with partners,
through project management and coordination, meeting or beating all
deadlines for partner deliverables, and ensuring that all budgets
and other documentation are prepared along with the proposal, as
required by potential funders.
◼Lead a growing team of fundraisers
who are overseeing their own client caseloads. This includes
supporting their work, as needed, and investing in their

Experience You Bring
◼At least 5 years of fundraising
experience working in or with nonprofit organizations as a
Development Director, Development Manager, or Consultant.
◼Must have demonstrated success
developing and managing annual fund campaigns, corporate giving, or
◼Experience setting up and growing
new development programs, launching new fundraising initiatives, or
starting major gift programs.
◼A track record of developing
strategies and action plans resulting in six and seven figure
◼Experience working with
stakeholders and building strong relationships.
◼3+ years of experience managing and
growing a team.
◼Knowledge of Washington, D.C.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time completely remote position with the
possibility of 5-10% of time for travel for conferences, team
meetings, speaking engagements, etc.
As a Director of Fundraising Strategy, you will receive a total
rewards package that includes an annual salary, bonus
opportunities, healthcare reimbursement, tech stipends, and
opportunities to leverage philanthropy. More specifically, FundEd
will offer the following benefits:
position will receive an annualized salary between $80,000 -
