Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement (71101)


Location: Brooklyn, NY

Key Essential Duties include the following:
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for scheduling, projects, information management
  • Oversee the administration of the Vice President's office


Salary Range: $64K - $70K + Generous Benefits


Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience: Three to five years of experience in providing progressively responsible executive-level administrative support and coordination, or other relevant and transferrable professional experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency is required in the use of word processing, database and spreadsheet, presentation, email, and electronic calendar software (i.e. MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook)
  • Strong preference for entire Google Suite and MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Asana highly preferred
  • Ability to work with and process confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and critical analytic thinking.
  • Knowledge of the Raiser's Edge database preferred.
  • An understanding of the important role of diversity, equity and inclusion to Institutional Advancement.
