Assistant Vice President, Mass Revenue and Communications

The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation seeks a qualified candidate to be the Assistant Vice President for Mass Revenue and Communications.

The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation (HMHF) is a separate 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds from individuals, corporations, private foundations and public sources to support the mission of the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and other organizations committed to supporting educators, researchers and clinicians to shine a light on mental health, bringing dignity and quality care to the children, adolescents, adults and families we serve every day.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Mass Revenue & Communications partners with HMHF, HMHI, faculty, researchers, clinicians and staff to develop a strategy for mass market revenue in the U.S. In this role, the AVP will deliver on that strategy with the intent of driving large scale awareness and income growth through best-in-class marketing and supporter engagement. The new AVP will be HMHF's mass market lead architect in the work of telling HMHF's story to private sector actors, using tools and content which will help HMHI to stand out as a remarkable change and impact agent in the mental health research, clinical and education space.

The AVP will provide forward-thinking leadership to build creative, multifaceted and market-sensitive activities, campaigns and operations. Likewise, s/he will oversee delivering sustainable growth in HMHF supporters from a mixture of channels. An emphasis on building a growing body of supporters committed to HMHF's goals through monthly giving is critical. The AVP will collaborate with other HMHF team members, as well as with HMHI communications teams, to craft plans that will grow our digital presence. In addition, s/he will work in close partnership with HMHF's major gifts team, as well as collaborate with University of Utah Advancement and University of Utah Health Advancement team members.

This is a high impact position for an institutionally ambitious and creative professional. HMHF is working to change the way we view and treat mental illness. HMHF aims to eliminate stigma, develop new ways to treat young people and provide care for the disenfranchised. This AVP will play a critical role in major undertakings and capitalize on the remarkable efforts already underway. Appreciation for the distinctive mission of HMHF is essential.

Qualifications for the position include commitment to the mission of HMHF, the quality of its programs and their representation; substantial experience in media strategy, marketing or communications; and personal qualities including diplomacy, sensitivity and a pioneering spirit.

All applications, nominations and inquiries are invited. Applications should include, as separate documents, a CV or resume and a letter of interest addressing the themes in the leadership profile found at www.wittkieffer.com.
