Associate Director of Prospect Research

 The Associate Director of Prospect Research for the MSU Alumni Foundation is an integral part of a dedicated team assigned to a group of frontline fundraisers working collectively to support Montana State University’s philanthropic goals and mission.  The Associate Director conducts research on existing and emerging constituents by reviewing, compiling, and analyzing information on individuals, corporations, and foundations.  The Associate Director supports proactive portfolio management efforts and data analytics by fulfilling targeted requests.  The Associate Director reports to the Director of Prospect Management & Research.

Qualified candidates will have experience in prospect research, prospect management, and/or data analysis.  An understanding of philanthropy, fundraising methods, and knowledge of public sources/methods for gathering, compiling, and reporting research is preferred   A baccalaureate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
