About Cinereach

Strategy. Story. Impact

Cinereach was founded on a simple yet challenging mission: support vital, artful films. For over 15 years, Cinereach has proudly supported the creation of beautiful, culturally relevant, and award-winning films and the filmmaking community at large. As one of media’s few artist-friendly organizations, we’ve earned the trust of our valued communities, by seeking creators, visionaries, and change-makers who share our bold vision to co-create stories that amplify cultural shifts and lead to measurable progress. It's at the core of all we do

As a strategy-informed media incubator, Cinereach today is a playground for experimentation where imaginations thrive, stories flourish, and every medium offers fresh opportunities. Driven by curiosity, we journey together — creating an environment that encourages experimentation, learns from failure and thrives on curiosity — as we seek to catalyze meaningful narratives by incorporating community, culture and research into compelling content.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Chief Creative Officer, Cinereach is seeking a Director of Productions to lead Cinereach through this process of transformation and intentional impact. As we position ourselves to fundamentally shift our focus toward bridging content with cultural impact, we welcome an innovative, big-picture thinker who both appreciates and values the inextricable relationship between high-quality creative content and cultural strategy.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to join a highly successful organization at a moment of reimagination, growth, and possibility as we position Cinereach as an agent of change toward a more just and equitable society.

  • Leverage key relationships and cultivate strategic partnerships across the content landscape, liaising with content creators, production companies, distributors, financiers, agents, managers and festival programmers as necessary
  • Measure and report on content ROI and measure impact in ways that feed key learnings into iterative strategies
  • Maintain oversight into the departmental budget, discerning the best financial schemas that optimize and conserve resources
  • Act as an ambassador in an external capacity for Cinereach
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to ensure the intersectionality of knowledge and resources
  • Strategically hire and assemble the Productions team as necessary

  • Energetic curiosity about the underlying currents that move culture ● Hands-on multi-media production experience
