annually in the U.S. market and plays a significant strategic role
in the creation of IRC’s brand, awareness, and support for its
advocacy goals.
Job Overview: The Digital
Marketing Officer will manage digital marketing acquisition
channels for the IRC, inclusive of paid social, paid search,
display advertising, video, P2P fundraising channels and
fundraising website assets (donation forms and banners), with a
focus on unrestricted giving, lead generation, monthly, 1x and
emergency donation campaigns. This work will be instrumental in
further scaling digital revenue and new donor acquisition and will
require a strategic and entrepreneurial mentality with keen project
management skills.
Major
Responsibilities: 1. Plan and manage digital
campaigns to meet acquisition and fundraising targets; support
digital campaigns from inception to execution, using a portfolio of
digital channels including paid search, paid social media, and
display. 2. Develop and manage peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising
initiatives including Facebook fundraisers and challenges, and
other digital platforms on which IRC hosts P2P fundraisers.
3. Project manage work with external vendors and internal team
members including Creative Studio and Brand to ensure all campaign
assets are on brand and of the highest quality. 4. Oversee
quarterly schedule for digital acquisition program to include
meeting cadence and results, strategic and tactical planning,
creative development, campaign execution, and analyses to ensure
smooth operations and adherence to shared timelines. 5. Liaise
between IRC digital consultants and internal partners to ensure
digital campaigns are developed, delivered on time, and are
optimized towards performance targets. 6. Provide regular
real-time status reports on active campaigns and suggest
optimizations to improve results. 7. Working in partnership
with colleagues in Data Analytics, provide in depth end of campaign
analysis and ongoing reporting on income from new and existing
supporters. 8. Support data gathering and manipulation for
real-time campaign optimization and high-level reporting.
9. Recommend and implement strategies to continually improve
activity tracking, gift attribution and data quality.
10. Monitor and respond to supporter inquiries on digital
acquisition and peer-to-peer channels, as needed.
Demonstrated Skills & Competencies:
1. Understanding of implementation and monitoring of paid
digital fundraising campaigns in US and ideally other global
markets 2. Ability to use analytics to inform and influence
decision making 3. Strong understanding of the various digital
channels/platforms 4. Excellent presentation, communication,
and interpersonal skills 5. Understanding of digital budgets,
invoicing, etc. 6. Self-starter with initiative and a
positive, proactive attitude 7. Ability to work under pressure
while maintaining attention to detail 8. Excellent
project-management skills; high versatility and agility to balance
multiple projects across teams and functional areas 9. Strong
digital literacy including Microsoft Office (especially Excel, and
PowerPoint).

vendors, corporate partners, consultants.
Job
Qualifications: Education: Minimum
Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience:
Minimum: 3 years’ experience in a digital media role
within a marketing department or advertising agency. Experience in
nonprofit industry and/or with nonprofit clients preferred.
Licenses or Certifications: Experience running
campaigns in Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager / Facebook
Blueprint preferred. Experience with Google Analytics, 3rd Party Ad
Servers, and CRM software preferred.

Environment: This role is remote full-time with East
Coast hours. Applicants will need a home or alternate workspace
they can effectively complete their work from during regularly
scheduled hours.
