Executive Director of Mid Foundation

Mid Michigan College (Mid) seeks a highly accomplished and experienced Executive Director of the Mid Foundation to lead the activities related to increasing philanthropic gifts to the College. Under the general direction of the Vice President of Student Services and Advancement, and the Mid Foundation Board, this position provides leadership, technical expertise, and coordination to the Foundation in its efforts to raise financial resources and general support for the College.

The successful candidate is passionate about partnering with an engaged and successful President and leadership team, and collaborating with an involved Board to grow a culture of philanthropy on behalf of Mid.

The successful candidate will achieve this by leading the Foundation’s fundraising activities including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, capital campaigns, corporate and foundation relations, donor cultivation and recognition, and alumni relations. Responsibilities include facilitating comprehensive fundraising activities, day-to-day operations, volunteer management and training, and ongoing and special development initiatives.

A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred. Would also prefer CFRE or other pertinent certifications. Require least three (3) years of fundraising experience, with a successful record of significant fund development, constituent relationship management, marketing, and/or institutional branding. Must have a strong track record of successfully managing teams, employees, volunteers, and/or volunteer boards.
