POSITION OVERVIEW

ProGeorgia is seeking a talented individual to serve as the Data Associate who will primarily support table partners with Data Tools administration, training, and technical assistance to implement their voter engagement work, including advising on using voter contact tools. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Data Associate will report to ProGeorgia’s Data Manager.

Responsibilities for the Data Associate include:

● Assist Senior Data Associate in program-related reporting as needed
● Assist Data Managers in Freshdesk management, including assigning tickets to appropriate Data staff, tracking the number of requests coming in from each partner by Tier, and managing timely responses reminders
● Cleaning and maintaining the Phone and Text Bank Request form and the Training Sign-up form at the direction of the Data Manager and monitoring monthly tools usage by partners by Tier Level
● Creating phone and text banks as directed by the Data Manager
● Maintain ProGeorgia's Partner Facing Data and Tool’s hub and internal Data Drive
● Support Tools Management and health checks
● Maintaining Data Tools and External Log spreadsheets
● Other data duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a majority of the following qualifications:

● Commitment to progressive values and to approaching the work in an inclusive and empathetic way. Particularly, a passion for building civic power among women, people of color, and the LGBTQIA+ community is essential
● Comfortability with learning new technology and a willingness and aptitude for teaching others how to use that new technology. Must be comfortable presenting data to partners in an accessible manner
● The ability to work with a large range of people possessing different skill levels while maintaining a diplomatic and professional approach to problem-solving
● Strong oral and written communication skills
● Experience with the VAN (Voter Activation Network)/VoteBuilder or other civic engagement platforms is a plus but not required
● Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management and analysis is required

Location: This is a hybrid position.

Compensation: This position is a contractual position with an annual salary of $50,000, less applicable deductions.
