Scheck Hillel Community School, located in North Miami, Florida has an immediate opportunity for a strategic and experienced fundraising professional to join us as our next Director of Development.    With over 50 years in the South Florida area, our school has set the standard for educational excellence and empowers our students to become reflective global citizens with enduring Jewish identify and values.  

Scheck Hillel is a nationally recognized college preparatory community day school. Our well-rounded, rigorous, dual curriculum program serves over 1200 students in PKT through 12th grade. The Director of Development is instrumental in continuing our forward movement by spearheading our fundraising initiatives.  Reporting to the Head of School, this leadership team member will serve as a key public face of Scheck Hillel while effectively working with community leaders, volunteers, and managing a professional staff. 

Poised for our next step of growth, candidates for this leadership position will have significant proven experience in creating, implementing, and managing a multi-faceted fundraising approach that includes successful capital campaigns, annual campaigns, endowments, grants, and other school related solicitations.  Bachelors degree required.  Experience working with the South Florida community preferred. Fluent Spanish language and advanced educational degrees a plus.
