IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.

IPPF's Individual Giving fundraising program secures private sector resources from individuals and family foundations at the small/recurring, mid-level, major, and planned gift levels. The program is nascent but is rapidly expanding with increasing revenue goals over the next few years.

IPPF seeks an Individual Giving Officer who will be primarily responsible for growing and retaining a portfolio of approximately 100+ current/prospective mid-level and major donors ($1,000+). The IG Officer is a new role and is part of a growing Individual Giving programme situated within a global fundraising team which secures significant resources to support the IPPF mission. This position will help IPPF achieve its Individual Giving fundraising targets, as well as manage its own revenue goal, which will increase in the coming years.

In addition to their donor portfolio, the Officer will be responsible for building a prospective donor pipeline, developing donor strategies and relationships to grow financial support for IPPF, and conducting prospect research.

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude and a foundational knowledge of nonprofit fundraising, as well as a commitment to IPPF’s mission and values, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and can work effectively in a fast-paced “start-up” style environment.

Applicants must submit an IPPF application form. We regret only shortlisted candidates will be acknowledged.

Closing date: 3 March 2023

Applications are particularly welcome from candidates openly living with HIV/AIDS. IPPF is committed to equal opportunities and cultural diversity. Candidates from all sections of the community are welcome to apply. However, before offering the job to you, we will require proof that you have permission to work in the U.S. This requirement will apply to all applicants irrespective of their nationality.

IPPF is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
