Vice President of Corporate Giving

Summary:

Rogers Behavioral is seeking a VP of Corporate Givingto be an integral member of the foundation leadership team.  The Vice President of Corporate Givingis responsible for corporate philanthropic engagement, sponsorships, and for growing partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong frontline major gifts fundraising experience with a proven track record of raising 6 - 7 figure commitments.   

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing a portfolio of corporation targets, six to seven figure gifts
  • Responsible for developing a portfolio of individual donors
  • Responsible for driving corporate donor revenue by managing existing donor relationships and ensuring donor retention
  • Develop annual and multi-year major gifts strategies, plans, and fundraising goals that align with the organization’s strategic and growth plans
  • Partners with foundation team to effectively integrate areas of fundraising such as annual fund, special events, stewardship, prospect research, and communication
  • Prepares written materials, including reports, cultivations, stewardship pieces, and direct mail solicitations for individual supporters and corporations

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Demonstrated success in personal cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and closing of major gifts(6 figure from corporations)
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • 10+ years of experience in non-profit development and fundraising
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with donors of all levels, volunteers, community leaders, corporate representative, foundation officials.
  • Organized, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-pace environment
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and experience using fundraising software
  • Flexibility to travel frequently
  • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
