The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Monthly Giving Senior Specialist will report on Direct Response Television (DRTV) and Face-to-Face (F2F) fundraising channels. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and WWP department contacts. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting with creation of Monthly Giving Team presentations and report presentations.


 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with DRTV Senior Specialist and serve as a backup on timelines, processes, and projections for DRTV filming, spot edits and spot delivery.

  • Collaborate with Monthly Giving Specialist and serve as a backup on assigning, tracking, and organizing all DRTV spot codes, as well as tracking, improving, and reporting on Joint Cost Allocation (JCA) for DRTV spots.

  • Manage MGT’s receipt of all video assets and their input into the Digital Asset Management system as appropriate.

  • Manage all monthly giving projects with Donor Systems IT team and report progress back to Direct Response team and notify teammates of possible overlaps.

  • Assist Direct Response leadership with quarterly review and budget preparations and presentations.

  • Assist Monthly Giving Leadership with updating/reporting on the monthly All Sustainer Summary Report and serving as a back-up.

  • Proactively think about celebrity partnerships and assist with research and outreach.

  • Collect and properly secure/store all DRTV waivers in accordance with WWP Policy.

  • Proactively work with program teammates to identify warriors who would excel in sharing their story through DR channels.  

  • Evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly analytical Monthly Giving data including F2F reporting and report findings to Monthly Giving Associate Director and Direct Response Director.

  • Track and manage invoicing processes with vendors and WWP accounting team.

  • Track, evaluate, and report on sustainer retention/stewardship, batch processing, daily cancels, caging, etc.

  • Engage supporters via multiple channels – solicit higher value donors and continually evaluate organizations position in consumer awareness.

  • Collaborate with direct mail team in producing compelling, timely and efficient Monthly Giving mailings for stewardship, lapsed and acknowledgments.

  • Review and approve Monthly Giving Direct Mail budgets and maintain up-to-date BAR report for proper forecasting.

  • Collaborate with Donor Experience Team on daily cancels report to identify trends and troubleshoot by making recommendations for internal and external (vendor) improvements.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Strong knowledge of best practices for direct mail and email, creative, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, list growth, etc.

EXPERIENCE

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in communications, marketing, or journalism.

 

Preferences

  • Experience managing and/or working with direct response marketing agencies.
