Phoebe is seeking a full-time Executive Director of the Office of
Philanthropy. The Executive Director must be motivated and
enthusiastic about Phoebe Ministries’ Mission, Vision, and Values.
This role reports directly to the organization’s President and
CEO.
The Executive Director provides overall leadership for Phoebe Ministries’ Philanthropy Program; and works closely with the President/CEO to assure Phoebe’s fundraising goals are achieved. Collaborates with the Executive Director of Marketing and External Relations on projects to enhance institutional advancement efforts.
The Executive Director manages a team of 6 Philanthropy employees. and will exhibit comfort and proficiency with a wide range of philanthropic work, including solicitation and stewardship of individual, foundation, and corporate donors, potential donor cultivation and research, grant writing, and special-events. The Executive Director must have demonstrated ability to build a culture of philanthropy within an organization and to engage in one-on-one solicitations and ongoing donor stewardship successfully.
The leader in this role will possess a successful track record in translating a vision into a work plan with measurable outcomes, setting priorities, achieving goals, and managing multiple projects. Is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible. Is a driving force who manages toward clarity, finds solutions, and can identify strategic development opportunities for the organization. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication and people skills.

We are looking for an individual who has ten or more years’ fundraising experience, with a demonstrated ability to build a culture of philanthropy within an organization.
Compensation is generous and commensurate with experience and includes bonus potential.
