Development Coordinator, Remote

The Development Coordinator works alongside the Chief Development Officer and the Director of Development and serves as a liaison for all fundraising activities. This is a fully remote position with occasional travel.

-Performs initial donor research and outreach efforts to identify potential donors. 

-Conducts market research and helps prepare donor proposals.

-Manages the donor database and reporting processes. 

-Responsible for prospect and fundraising tracking.

-Creates communications and follows an ongoing plan to engage and steward donors.

-Supports all fundraising activities, events and programs to include, but not limited to event coordination, registration, sponsorship, tracking and donor relations.

-Works with key internal players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the Foundation’s strategy and in support of various program initiatives.

 Qualifications

The Development Coordinator position requires a bachelor’s degree in related field; the ideal candidate would have a minimum of three years related work experience to include:

• Fundraising

• Strong communication skills

• Content writing
• Database experience
• Prospecting experience
