JOB SUMMARY
To provide Human Resources operational
and strategic support to US Programs. To support all aspects of US
Program HR processes by ensuring quality standards in HR are
developed and maintained in tandem with the global HR strategy.
Manage the internal client relationship with program teams
and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction using problem
solving ability, negotiation skills, responsiveness and continual
communication.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide operational and strategic HR business partnerships to US
program teams
• Provide in technical coaching with focus on issues related to
workplace relations, performance management, leadership development
and conflict management
• Provides training, coaching, and capacity building to HR staff in
US program offices to ensure consistent application of policies and
processes
• Ensures and/or conducts designated compliance trainings within
the US program region as needed and supports program teams in
adherence to compliance and audit recommendations.
• Leads career development activities, including talent
identification, capacity assessment and employee development
• Assists program and HR staff in implementation of Corporate HR
policies and processes
• Provides real time and strategic input as HR designee on US
Platform
• Support talent identification, capacity assessment and career
development activities in designated programs
• Visits locations within their designated area and completes a
report for each visit.
• Provide in program support and complete detailed report on ASIS
report for each visit.
• Completes/supports in compliance or safeguarding
investigations
• Provides HR support for deployment to emergency response within
program
• Coordinates with HQ on communication and outreach activities
regarding HR projects/initiatives
• Supports and provides guidance on Learning and Development
initiatives
• Coordinates with Corporate Compensation and Benefits regarding
compensation and benefit packages for the US program and ensuring
communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee
records and information

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Typically, a 4-year University degree in
related area. Equivalent combination of relevant education and
experience may be substituted as appropriate
• Typically, 10+ year of relevant and progressive
experience working in human resources, including at least 7 years
in the NGO industry, providing support to multi international
country programs.
