Executive Director
The Razorback Foundation seeks a visionary, collaborative, and strategic leader who models inclusion, integrity, and transparency to serve as its Executive Director (ED). The Razorback Foundation Inc. is the fundraising arm of the University of Arkansas Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Foundation supports the mission of Razorback Athletics and the vision of the Director of Athletics. Through contributions from members, the Foundation supports scholarships, facilities, and athletic and academic programs that enable student-athletes to realize their dreams of achieving a quality college education while participating in athletics on a nationally competitive level.
The ED oversees the administration, programs, fundraising, and strategy of the Foundation. The ED will lead a team of 15 development staff focused on fundraising efforts for major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, and capital/comprehensive campaigns. In addition, one other corporate entity reports up to the ED and is overseen by the Razorback Foundation: OneArkansas NIL, LLC. OneArkansas is a legal entity to help student athletes use their names, images and likenesses to build their personal brand and help local charities. The ED position reports to the Razorback Foundation Board of Directors while also working closely with and serving on the University of Arkansas Athletic Department's Senior Leadership Team.
Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek has helped lead a revitalization of University of Arkansas Athletics that has resulted in a resurgence in several programs. The ED will be able to capitalize on AD Yurachek's vision while deepening relationships with boosters and alumni. The ED and the Foundation team will also launch a comprehensive capital campaign in the near future, expand the Foundation's donor base, and create a relationship-oriented culture of philanthropy.
In the next Executive Director, the Foundation also seeks an accomplished advancement professional with deep experience in development and campaigns who builds authentic relationships. Experience in collegiate athletics fundraising is preferable, and a clear track record of successfully closing major and principal gifts is essential.
