The largest guide dog school in North America, Guide Dogs for the Blind, is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join us at our San Rafael, CA campus as a full-time Development Program Coordinator. In this wide-ranging role, you will have the opportunity to assist our friendly Development team with fundraising events, planned giving, and general development duties. All funding comes from generous donors, and this role helps to support the amazing efforts of our development team.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist with donor visits and our signature events by providing logistics, scheduling, and administrative support
- Address communication needs within the department and serve as a liaison for all development activities
- Coordinate, manage, and execute assigned projects and activities, such as giving societies, team sponsorships, capital acknowledgements, donor gatherings, and Puppy Center tours
- Communicate directly with donors and volunteers, supporting their questions and needs and documenting in Salesforce
- Cross train as a Planned Giving Specialist, where you will learn about donor relations, event management, and marketing list management
What You’ll Need:
- Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in administrative positions requiring project management, staff backup, collaboration, and teamwork
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs with experience in Salesforce preferred
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and/or evenings

Pay Range:
$31.00-$37.00/hour
