Director of Advancement- Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park

The Director of Advancement reports directly to the Producing Artistic Director and is a member of the senior staff team. In concert with the Producing Artistic Director, and in alignment with Playhouse initiatives, the Director of Advancement creates, develops, and implements a comprehensive annual institutional advancement plan that successfully achieves the organization’s contributed income goals. Compensation Amount
The salary range for this position will begin at $150,000. Benefits will include the following:

● Paid vacation and holidays

The hiring decision will be made by the Producing Artistic Director, with input from other key Playhouse staff and stakeholders. They hope to make a final decision by early Fall 2023 with the new Director of Advancement onsite as soon thereafter as possible.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is “Cincinnati's national theatre,” a cultural organization committed to bringing “diverse, engaging works of great artistry to our community, and to putting Cincinnati's artistic excellence in the national spotlight.” The Playhouse was founded in 1959 in the Eden Park shelterhouse, which subsequently became the Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre. The theater’s audience multiplied and in 1968 the organization opened the Robert S. Marx Theatre next door. Over the past six decades, the Playhouse has built a robust local audience that, post-pandemic, numbers approximately 70,000 annually.
