Landmark College (LC) is a unique, fully accredited college for bright neurodivergent students with learning differences (LD; including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and executive function challenges). LC provides an intentionally designed, resource-rich academic and student life model yet is traditional in most ways. The College is experiencing enrollment growth at the Vermont main campus, through LC Online, and at our San Mateo, CA, based Success Center. We seek an experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record to join our Institutional Advancement team as a part-time or full-time West Coast Gifts and Relationships Director.
The Gifts and Relationships Director is a West Coast-based position (preferred West Coast residence) responsible for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individuals associated with LC such as alumni and families of past and current students, as well as individuals and entities looking to financially support a unique, much-needed educational model. This position supports the Annual Fund and major fundraising Campaigns. Travel throughout the West Coast area is required, as is occasional travel to the East Coast (Vermont campus and to meet with individuals elsewhere). An ability to connect with donors and communicate LCS vision, plan, complex programs, and overall importance is key to success. Knowledge of advancement issues and opportunities, a working understanding of fundraising systems and data-associated elements, and other aspects of fundraising processes, chief among them strong relationship-related instincts and qualities are also necessary. A bachelors degree is required.
Landmark College offers competitive wages, and for full-time employees an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental and vision plans. A position with Landmark College is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of often overlooked college students and to help us change how the public thinks about education.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, résumé, and full contact information for three references (references will not be checked until finalist stage) to the Director of Human Resources: humanresources@landmark.edu.
